One of the tips that I have seen a lot regarding how to promote your blog or diversify your readership is to guest post. I have done this probably less than I should, but off the top of my head, here are a couple of my contributions to other blogs:

My blog isn't huge, but I feel as though I should offer the opportunity to others. These next couple of months are a good time for me to solicit guest posts for this blog, as I've got a couple of new things that will be competing with my time and will to blog. They include: the holidays, the "busy season" at my job, my
guitar, settling my job/living situation, my
marathon, a new niece, professional association meetings, becoming a undergraduate mentor, and working on publishing parts of my dissertation. Hopefully, I will get some vacation time in as well, though I just learned that my two-week winter break that I had been looking forward to allllll year is now down to one.
So, if you have an idea you'd like to share with me, please contact me via e-mail (see the
About page for those details). I'm looking for topics related to this blog, so food/product reviews, and basically anything about running should do just fine.
NOTE: I won't be using these as a replacement for my own blogging but rather to add some variety to the blog and fill on those days when *all the above* prevent me from posting regularly.
