GoodBelly Probiotic Coconut Water

A while back, I took the GoodBelly 12-Day Challenge and found that my digestion was improved afterwards due to its probiotic content.  I kept up drinking this stuff for a couple of months, until I figured that I had done enough.

Months later, my stomach went back to its unpredictable, finicky self (probably due to a fairly poor diet).

Fortunately, GoodBelly products have gotten cheaper nationwide, including my Whole Foods where I found this new coconut water for about $3.49.  With no sugar added the and hydrating benefits of coconut water, I was happy to pick one up!

If you're already familiar with coconut water, this version might be a little hard to drink.  GoodBelly products have a distinct sour-ish taste (which is why the Mango is my favorite, as this is where its least prevalent to me), which might make you feel as though you're drinking bad coconut water.  Some mind-over-matter will help you realize that you're drinking something that is a good thing for your stomach.

My recommendation is that if you're new to this stuff, start with the Mango flavor.  Since I am used to the products, I will finish this coconut version and probably continue on it since it has less sugar than some of the other products in this line.

Speaking of which, I was sent some ambassador coupons for GoodBelly products, which I have been passing around (excitedly, I guess... based on this post-gym picture of me looking crazy).  You can sign up for coupons at GoodBelly.com when you sign up for their 12-day challenge.

  1. I have not seen this at whole foods in San Antonio yet. Is it like Kombucha? Fermented?

  5. Rat, not sure if you'll see this comment, but other natural health stores, Ralph's/Krogers, and Vons/Safeway should probably carry it by now.
