Pomp and Circumstance

I must say that yesterday was one of the best days of my life so far.

Coming into it, I had been excited, of course, but it has been hard to see how big a deal other people thought this was.

Until I saw my parents cheering for me as we walked in during the processional. Very few times do I ever seem them that happy.

As the "Pomp and Circumstance" song was playing, I knew I had to take it all in, because this was the last time it'd be playing for me. I wouldn't say I choked up hearing it, but it did sort of melt my heart.

I will end by saying that I am so grateful to have so many wonderful people in my life.
