Holiday Bootie-Buster Challenge 2010

Okay, so this is going to be VERY interesting, considering how I will be coming off of a marathon and quitting training for a while. But I've participated in a lot of these challenges in the past, so I gotta make myself eligible for at least a "randomly drawn" prize!

HBBC Rules

1 Point per mile (run/walk/snowshoe)
1 Point per 3 miles biked
1 Point per 20 minutes of weight lifting, Pilates, yoga, stretching or abs
1 Point per 15 minutes of another form of cardio (i.e. kick boxing, aerobics elliptical)
1 Per day where you reach a minimum of 7 servings of fruits and veggies

November 20-26:
11/20 - 45 min No More Trouble Zones DVD (3 pts)
11/21 - 15 min arms/abs (1 pts)
11/22 - 30 min stepper; 15 min bike; 30 min strength (4 pts)
11/23 - 30 min bike; 1.5 mi run/walk; 15 min strength (4 pts)
11/24 - 30 min tiring game-play (2 pts)
11/25 - 5 mi run (5 pts); 15 strength (1 pt)
11/26 - 45 min NMTZ DVD (3 pts)
TOTAL: 23 pts + 3 veggie pts = 26 pts

November 27-December 3:
11/27 - walked 1 mi (1 pt)
11/28 - 15 min strength (1 pt)
11/29 - 45 min cardio (ladder, treadmill, elliptical); 15 min strength (4 pts)
11/30 - run 2 mi (2 pts); 30 min bike (2 pts); 15 min strength (1 pt)
12/1 - run 5 mi (5 pts)
12/2 - 30 min bike (2 pts); 30 min strength (2 pts)
12/3 - run 1 mi (1 pt); 30 min cardio (ladder/elliptical) (2 pts); 15 min strength (1 pt)
TOTAL: 24 pts + 3 veggie pts - 27 pts

December 4-10:
12/4 - run 4 mi (4 pts)
12/5 -walk 2 mi (2 pts)
12/6 - 35 min intervals on elliptical (2 pts); 15 min strength (1 pt); walk 2 mi (2 pts)
12/7 - run 4 mi & 15 min every stair I could find at the destination (5 pts)
12/8 - 45 min elliptical; 5 min Jacob's ladder (3 pts); 15 min strength (1 pt); walk 2 miles (2 pts)
12/9 - 45 min upright bike; 15 min strength (4 pts)
12/10 - 30 min elliptical; 10 min stairmaster, 5 min Jacob's ladder (3 pts); 15 min strength (1 pt);
TOTAL: 28 pts + 3 veggie pts = 31 pts

December 11-17:
12/11 - run/walk 6 mi (6 pts)
12/12 - 15 min strength (1 pt)
12/13 - 1 mi run (1 pt); 25 min elliptical + 5 min Jacob's ladder (2 pts); 15 min strength (1 pt)
12/14 - 5 mi run; 15 min strength (6 pts)
12/15 - 1 mi run (1 pt); 15 min stairclimber (1 pt); 20 min ladder/elliptical (1 pt); 15 min strength (1 pt)
12/16 - 4 mi run (4 pts)
12/17 - 1 mi run (1 pt); 15 min elliptical (1 pt); 30 min strength (2 pts)
TOTAL: 29 + 3 veggie pts = 32 pts

December 18-24:
12/18 - rained out of my workout
12/19 - 15 min strength (1 pt)
12/20 - out of town
12/21 - out of town
12/22 - run 1 mi (1 pt); 50 min cardio (3 pts); 45 min strength (3 pts)
12/23 - run 7 mi (7 pts)
12/24 - does housework count??
TOTAL: 12 + 3 veggie pts = 15 pts

December 25-January 2:
12/25 - run 3 mi (3 pts)
12/26 - out of town - think I walked about 2 mi (2 pts)
12/27 - out of town - but I swear I walked at least 6 mi (6 pts)
12/28 - out of town
12/29 - 30 min strength (3 pts); 15 min cardio (1 pt) (was drained)
12/30 - I don't think I did anything besides walk 1 mi (1 pt)
12/31 - run 1 mi (1 pt); 15 min Versaclimber (1 pt); 30 min strength (2 pts)
TOTAL: 20 pts + 3 veggie pts = 23 pts

January 1-7:
1/1 - I did about 15 min strength combined on 1/1 and 1/2 (.5 pt)
1/2 - (.5 pt)
1/3 - ran 3.1 (3 pts); 15 min other cardio (1 pt); 60 min strength (4 pts); 30 min Wii fit (2 pts)
1/4 - ran 5 mi (5 pts)
1/5 - ran 2 mi (2 pts); 45 min strength (3 pts)
1/6 - ran 6 mi (6 pts)
1/7 - biked 25 min (~2 pts); 30 min strength (2 pts)
TOTAL: 31 pts + 3 veggie pts = 34 pts

GRAND TOTAL: 188 (I earned an additional 2 pts by posting the logo, so it's actually 190)
